Make it! Cute Owl Beaded Cuff Bracelet – Peyote Stitch Pattern

Cute Owl Beaded Cuff Bracelet - Flat Odd Count Peyote Stitch Pattern

*Affiliate links are included in this post.

I have another peyote stitch beading pattern to share with you today!

This time, it’s for a super cute owl beaded cuff bracelet! Each owl is slightly different in shades of turquoise, gold and pink.

I made this using flat odd count peyote stitch, which is very similar to regular flat even count peyote stitch. But don’t worry if you’re not sure how to do this – I’ve recently added a tutorial for both techniques on the blog, see it here!

You’ll get the hang of flat odd count peyote stitch really quickly once you’ve done a few rows. 🙂

To make this bracelet you’ll need the following materials:

  • Miyuki Delicas size 10/0 (colours and types used are specified in my pattern).
  • Nymo beading thread in cream.
  • Size 10 or 12 beading needle.
  • My peyote stitch cuff bracelet PDF pattern.

Following the pattern, the beadwork will measure around 5.5 inches in length when you’ve finished it. When a clasp is added (see the toggle clasp I’ve used in the bracelet pics here), the bracelet will measure 6.5 to 7 inches.

Don’t worry if you need to make the bracelet longer or shorter – you can easily do this by increasing or decreasing the number of jump rings in the clasp. You can also add a few rows of beads to each end of the bracelet if you need to make it longer.

I like to use a range of different bead finishes for my patterns to create the illusion of texture. You’ll see the exact colours and bead types used in the pattern itself, which is available in my Etsy shop for just ÂŁ4.99 plus VAT.

I’ve decided to charge for some of my patterns to help keep my blog up and running. Although it doesn’t cost much at all to run a WordPress website, there are times when I do have to spend money on it – for example, I had a self-inflicted technical error this week on my site and ended up paying an expert WordPress developer to help me fix it – ÂŁ150!!!

In addition, I regularly spend money on materials to bring you my free craft tutorials! So I hope you don’t mind that I’m charging for this one – it’s totally worth the small fee, I assure you!

This is a project aimed at every level of beader, it’s really fun to make for yourself or for the owl lover in your life.

When you purchase this pattern, you’ll receive a digital file that includes:

  • Bead legend with colours and bead types used.
  • Bead chart (visual pattern).
  • Word chart (row by row).
  • Pattern preview.

If you can’t wait to get started, you’ll be pleased to know that you’ll receive the pattern as soon as your PayPal payment has been processed.

Please note that materials aren’t included! But in case you’re wondering where to get supplies, check out my handy affiliate links above in the materials list.
