I recently bought a bead loom from Amazon, something I’d wanted to buy for a long time!
Mine is a simple contraption (it’s the Darice 12-inch by 2.75-inch bead loom from Amazon), but it really works well to create some lovely loom beadwork! If you’re not sure how to use a bead loom, I recommend watching this Beadaholique YouTube video – the bead loom used is very similar and the video is nice and clear.
I’ve created a set of two stacking bracelets with my bead loom and have listed the patterns in my Etsy shop in case you want to make the same.
I chose four pretty colours for my bracelet set using peach, pink, white and gold Miyuki Delicas – size 11/0. I used pink embroidery thread to give the sides of the bead loom bracelets a nice edge, and regular beading thread on the middle strands. I used the same beading thread to attach the beads.
For my single strand bracelet, I simply strung some of the same Delica beads together and used some gold-tone spacer beads to add a little interest.
My beading patterns include a bead legend, a row by row word chart, a visual bead chart and instructions on how to make the bead loom bracelets in three sizes: 6-inch, 7-inch and 8-inch. The bracelets are 15mm and 8mm wide.
