In case you’re wondering what kind of Christmas gift to get for that beader or jewellery-maker in your life, I’ve put together a Christmas Gift Guide for inspiration! All the products I’ve recommended below are from Etsy, my favourite place to shop online for handmade goods – and craft supplies.
Prices are correct at the time of writing this post and each one is in stock currently. Each supplier offers worldwide shipping unless otherwise indicated.
Without further ado, here’s my very own wish list Christmas Gift Guide for Beaders and Jewellery Makers!

Every jewellery-maker or beader needs a good set of pliers in their kit. This set from Glitterama Crafts is priced at £10.20 plus shipping and includes round nose and flat nose pliers, wire cutters and more.
3. Miyuki Delica Bead Set with Storage Box
As a beader myself, I would literally be bowled over if I received this as a gift. Miyuki Delicas are very high quality Japanese beads, perfect for peyote stitch and brick stitch beadweaving projects. This Miyuki Delica set includes a whopping 36,000 size 11/0 Delicas in 36 different colours, housed in flip top boxes. Wow. Priced at £80.62 plus shipping.
4. Christmas Beads Variety Box
This festive bead gift from Cute Cornwall contains a variety of resin beads in a mix of Christmas colours! Priced at just £5.00 plus shipping, this would make a fun gift for anyone who loves to do a bit of seasonal jewellery-making.
5. Bead Loom Kit
This is great little kit that includes not only a bead loom, but also beads and patterns to get started. Priced at just £12.40 plus shipping, this bead loom kit from Glitterama Crafts is ideal for beginner beaders.
6. 16 Strands of Glass Pearl Beads
Glass pearls are the staple type of bead for many jewellery-making kits, as they are so incredibly versatile. They can be used in earring, bracelet or necklace projects – and probably much more. This set of 16 strands of 4mm glass pearl beads in mixed colours from In The Works Beads is priced at just £13.82 plus shipping. That’s a lot of beads for the money!
7. 10 Rolls of Enameled Copper Beading Wire
Jewellery wire is great for wire-wrapping projects or for making findings like earwires and jump rings. It can also be used with a Thing-A-Ma-Jig to make wire flowers and swirls. This set of 10 rolls of 0.3mm wire from Elibria Couture comes in a gorgeous mix of colours. Priced at £16.62 plus shipping (this supplier ships to selected countries including the UK, USA, Europe, Latvia and Australia).
8. Thing-A-Ma-Jig
Speaking of Thing-A-Ma-Jigs, one of these would also make a great gift for jewellery-makers this Christmas! This Thing-A-Ma-Jig from Belandaria Designs contains the jig itself, 30 pegs, patterns and instructions for bending wire into shapes. Priced at £12.34 plus shipping.
9. Selection of Ceramic Artisan Beads
Artisans will love these beautiful handmade ceramic beads from Junque Jules, priced at £14.81 plus shipping. 8 pieces are included in this set, including a pendant.
10. Swarovski Crystal Beads
No jewellery-making kit would be complete without some very sparkly beads – and Swarovski beads are the most sparkly of them all! This kit from Delphine Blue contains 36 Swarovski bicone beads in a mix of colours. Bicone beads are a great choice as their angled edges work very well in right-angle weave beading projects and they can also be used singly too as earring components or dangle charms. Priced at £8.84 plus shipping.
11. 64 Drawer Storage Organiser
A practical gift, but a great one all the same! Any beader / jewellery-maker needs to keep their supplies organised. I have a storage system very similar to this one and what I love about it is that you can fit all different sizes of beads and findings into the drawers. This storage system from Beads Findings Depot is priced at £23.03 plus shipping.
12. Engraving Tool
This is an electric engraving tool from Supplies DIY and I was pleasantly surprised by the price of it! At just £9.14 (free postage), this engraving pen can be used on metal or wood. Ideal for anyone looking to make personalised jewellery.
13. Loose Swarovski Rhinestones
This seems to be a great mix of loose Swarovski cabochons which can be used for all sorts of jewellery-design, including bead embroidery projects. These can fix nicely into metal settings too. This product from Immortelle Bijouterie comes in a random 5g batch and costs £8.19 plus shipping.
14. Jewellery Soldering Kit
For jewellery-makers who want to take their craft to the next level, this jewellery soldering kit from Jewelry Supplies NW could be the perfect gift! This kit contains everything needed to get started in soldering. It’s ideal for beginners, those taking a class or are in the process of setting up their own studio. Priced at £83.22 plus shipping.
