We have a few different Christmas traditions in our household.
When decorating the tree, we always add a new bauble to mark another year. (This means our tree decoration is a complete mish-mash of different shapes and colours of baubles!)
In addition, we always watch a Christmas movie with our daughter on Christmas Eve and play Christmas music whilst we’re unwrapping presents on Christmas morning.
And lastly, we always wear something very Christmassy on Christmas Day! My hubby usually goes for some kind of Christmas jumper (with or without lights), I like to wear Christmas themed jewellery and our little girl always has a Christmas themed dress for the occasion.
I’m tempted to get one of those matching “Mummy and Me” outfits this year, or some family pajamas! For inspiration, I’ve been checking out handmade Christmas attire on Etsy – there are so many brilliant outfits to choose from!
I’ve rounded up several of my favourite Christmas outfits and accessories for both adults and little ones. Take a look at them below…
Gingle Bells Christmas Jumper by Of Life and Lemons
Christmas Baby Outfit by Photo Props for Kids Art
Chunky Knit Santa Hat by Lauren Aston Designs
Peppermints and Holly Matching Dresses (Mommy and Me) by Luna Luxe Creations
Red Girls’ Reindeer Christmas Dress by Lottie Button
Womens’ Knitted Ugly Christmas Sweater with Deers by Deer Sweater Shop
Baby Girls’ Christmas Outfit by Posh Peanut Kids
Beautiful Long Length Deluxe Nordic Santa Claus Costume by Hayley Jayne Designs
What a Santa costume, right? If you want your little ones to believe for another year, this costume will surely go a long way in helping them to do just that! It’s so realistic! I absolutely love the baby costumes above too, they’re so cute.
As I mentioned earlier, these amazing outfits and costumes are HANDMADE! Meaning that you can’t just go out and buy them on the high street.
Huge thanks to the talented designers on Etsy that have allowed me to feature them for this post. Please click on the individual images to visit their Etsy stores to find out more about each item and see more fine examples of handmade goods!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this article. Do you have a tradition you like to follow at Christmas?
