Black Crystal Heart Necklace

Hello! I thought I would post a picture of this Black Crystal Heart Necklace which I made yesterday. I found a new bead shop recently and as always, I wasn’t able to come away without buying some kind of beads! I always feel like a child in a sweet shop whenever I enter a bead shop – there’s so much temptation on offer…

I created this simple necklace with a few of the items that I bought. The necklace has a tiny element of steampunk style about it with the antique bronze chain and key charms. I like working with beads and crystals and as you can see, I also added my own flavour to it.

I needed to use a large jump ring to attach the black heart pendant to the chain and I wasn’t happy with the way it looked so I covered up the jump ring with gold seed beads.

I used a few lengths of smaller antique bronze chain to add a fringe underneath the beads. They really add to the ‘swishiness’ of the necklace!
